Black Lives Matter. I know that some don’t want to say that because “it’s political” but the Lord recently opened my eyes to see that we cannot let it be political. We HAVE to be advocates for our black friends and family because guess what racism still exists. Sometimes in subtle ways and other times in overtly evil ways like the way George Floyd was murdered. We must raise our voice against injustice and start putting in the work. So in an effort to have more representation of black people in my business and on my page I will be doing two wedding giveaways this upcoming week! It’s been a while since we have REALLY posted, probably about 6 weeks actually. I know that because our sweet Mackenna was born about that long ago (YAY 🎉 Baby girl!). We are now a family of three! If you are just visiting our insta for the first time we are the Wilson’s and we started this business in 2015 and through it have met some of our favorite people and friends! We cannot wait for 2020! Our other job is pastoring @trinitybmt and these last two years have been rough with two floods and my both my mom and grandma passing away. So for 2020 we are only taking a limited number of weddings, but we might be adding some exciting services to our business very soon 🤫. This is just unreal. I met Tiffiany when I first met Morgan - taking her senior photos in November of 2017. Tiffiany had been fighting cancer for 4 years and my mom was fighting cancer at the time as well and so I knew how it felt. ⁣ ⁣ I made sure and took a photo of them together because honestly photos & video are so important. They capture memories that sometimes we just simply forget. ⁣ ⁣ After Morgan’s senior shoot I was able to do her twin Macy’s shoot as well and Tiffiany was so pleased with how I captured their personalities. I quickly fell in love with all of them. How can you not love these four? ⁣ ⁣ Our hearts are so heavy as we approach the eve of Tiffiany’s home going service. Our promise as Christ followers is that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I can just imagine my mom and Tiffiany together with Jesus. It’s the only thing that helps me - we do not grieve as those who have no hope.⁣ ⁣ We have victory in Jesus Christ. We win. You won Tiff. I love you and miss you already. ✨
